Smart-Cockpit becomes the first of RP Designs patent-pending applications to be published by the USPTO.

The USPTO has published the application on its database as the company prepares the first of several public releases in the coming months.

As the northern hemisphere summer approaches, bikes across North America and Europe are being taken off their racks in anticipation of the warmer weather. Training rides, races and social get togethers will find their way onto the calendars of millions of riders for the upcoming riding season.

The Smart-Cockpit has been tried, tested, and put through its paces over the winter and will see the first deliveries taking place in June.  The road and mountain bike editions are available exclusively from the official online store and will be shipped to riders around the world.

 The limited-edition versions offer riders the option to have a customized version of the Smart-Cockpit interface in an exclusive tinted carbon color and matching case.

As RP Designs launches its first range of luxury cruiser bicycles under the Fusion brand, the patent-pending design of the floating Smart-Cockpit will make its public debut.

Exact details and specifications of both the standard and limited-edition models will be released over the next few weeks across the brands platforms.
